Studio Policies
Tuition & Billing
Tuition is billed on the 1st of each month via automatic payment. Holiday breaks are built into the annual schedule, so monthly amounts stay consistent year-round. A one-time $35 registration fee is due at enrollment, and a spot is not held until the registration form and fee are received. Students beginning mid-month are charged a prorated amount before moving to regular monthly billing. All tuition payments are non-refundable.
Absences & Makeups
Please notify me by 12:00 PM on the day of your lesson if you can't attend. In-person makeups are not offered — instead, I'll provide a recorded lesson video or a Zoom lesson. If a student is sick, please stay home and we'll use one of those options.
Cancellation Policy
A 30-day written notice is required to discontinue lessons (email: dallinbohnviolin@gmail.com). Tuition continues through the full notice period, and if it extends into the next month a prorated charge applies on the 1st. Scheduled holiday breaks are still observed during the notice period.
Schedule & Expectations
Students age 12 and under must have a parent or adult present in the lesson room. Students ages 13–17 may attend independently with written parent/guardian consent. Parents are always welcome to observe. Students must bring their instrument and music to every lesson. The studio observes 4–6 holiday weeks per year, already factored into tuition. If I'm unavailable, I'll arrange a Zoom lesson, substitute, or rescheduled lesson. Lessons end about 5 minutes early to allow smooth transitions between students.
Student Dismissal
Lessons may be discontinued due to frequent unexcused absences, missed payments, or failure to follow studio policies.
General
Lessons may be paused if payments are not current. Students and families assume responsibility for personal safety on the premises — Dallin Bohn Violin is not liable for injuries or lost/damaged items. Policies, pricing, and scheduling are subject to change with advance notice.
